LONG GRAIN RICE

Long grain rice are non-aromatic, non-basmati rice grown in Punjab, Haryana belt of India. The grains are smaller compared to Basmati rice with average length of 6 – 6.5 mm, but thicker than Basmati rice. Ideal for daily consumption, becomes fluffy after cooking with elongation ratio of 1.5 times.
